How to get back on the field after injury: NFL.com
When John Moore was healthy enough to return to the field, it was the second time he had been to a game since injuring his left knee in the 2013 preseason.
The Cowboys’ franchise quarterback was one of four players in the league to do so.
“We had some success,” Moore said, “but that was a pretty good season and we have to be ready to go.”
Moore has been back to the lineup in three games, including a pair of starts this season, and was held to only nine yards on nine carries.
He was replaced by Tyron Smith in Sunday’s 28-27 win over the Washington Redskins, but the Cowboys were able to overcome the loss with Moore at quarterback.
The Cowboys are 4-0 when Moore is on the bench.

Moore, who had been limited to three games by a back injury, said he’s had some trouble keeping his legs together, but that he’ll be ready for Sunday’s game.
“It’s been a long season for me and I’m happy to be back,” Moore told the Dallas Morning News.
“I feel good and it’s nice to be healthy again.
The Cowboys were without running back Ezekiel Elliott, who is dealing with a knee injury.
Elliott missed Sunday’s opener with an injury to his right hamstring.
